Their Story

Matt and I met on Tinder, where we found out we had 40 mutual friends and went to high school together and didn't know it. Our first date was at Disneyland, and I knew I had found my complimentary other half. His family planned a trip to Montana for us two years into our relationship, to visit their vacation home in Marion. We had a fun-filled week of hiking in Glacier, whitewater rafting and playing in the great outdoors. One evening, we had a "fancy" dinner planned at a restaurant in Whitefish, which was apparently "fancy" so that I would get dressed up. After dinner Matt's sister wanted to take pictures of the sunset at Lake McDonald. Matt pulled me aside while she was "taking photos" and he asked me to be his bride and always be with him by his side. I was so happy, and of course said yes so that we could begin our happily ever after.

We both love the outdoors and spending time in nature. We knew we wanted a winter wedding and could not think of a better location than the beauty of Montana. I'm an old fashioned romantic girl at heart and the sleigh ride at Cripple Creek Horse Ranch was the perfect way to show our family and friends a part of the country that had captured our hearts. The vintage postcard look is what we wanted to use as our save the date, to convince our loved ones to "relax, unplug, enjoy the fresh mountain air." Marianne captured this perfectly; we could not have asked for anything better.
