Marissa & Ryan

Marissa and Ryan were married at Glacier Raft Company Weddings & Events on September 9, 2017. Jennifer Mooney Photography captured their beautiful wedding. They first met while attending Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. We asked them when they fell in love, and their answers are the sweetest!

Marissa: “Falling in love was with Ryan was quick for me! I never really thought I believed in the idea of soul mates – the idea that there is one person you are meant to be with – and then I met Ryan. I fell in love with him over the funny faces he made at me from across the room at work, and his ability to always be silly with me. He became my closest friend, and someone I could share my passions with. The more time I spent with him the more I fell in love with this incredibly kind and intelligent man, the man that I am meant to spend the rest of my life with.”

Ryan: “It was gradual for me. As we spent more and more time together, I discovered more about this amazing girl. When I found out about her extreme passion for Harry Potter, The Office, and all Marvel movies I knew that I had found a nerd, a beautiful and intelligent nerd, with whom I shared a lot in common. There were little quirks that I began to notice as we spent more time together: She eats the outside of hamburgers first and saves the middle for last because it tastes the best, and she bounces her knees and hums if she really enjoys her meal. Marissa will turn a fantastic shade of crimson if you embarrass her, which is incredibly easy to do.”
